Wootown featured in Regional Documentary "From Grain to Guild"

The Wootown Brewers, as well as the Free State Homebrewers Club Guild, were recently featured in a Regional Documentary.

"From Grain To Guild: The Art of Homebrewing" focuses on the process and people of Homebrewing, and includes interviews with Wootown President Tom Davidson and Guild President Les White.

The Documentarian, Michelle Williams, has graciously agreed to make the documentary available for streaming from the Wootown web site. The documentary may be viewed below.

Wootown would like to thank Michelle and her crew for the coverage, and thank Wootowner Chris Trompeter (http://www.trompeters.com) for his efforts and expertise in digitalizing, compressing, and streaming the video. A mirror of the video may be found on his web site: http://www.trompeters.com

Welcome to Wootown

The Wootown Brewers are a "homebrewing" club based in Northern Maryland. Membership is open to any person of legal drinking age. Member expertise ranges from novice to seasoned brewers with 15+ years of experience. Many members enjoy all-grain brewing and others do a wonderful job with extract. We simply encourage members to brew better beer no matter which path they choose. The benefits of membership include organized group brews 3-4 times per year, group trips and gatherings, and the fellowship and guidance of other brewers. Membership is only $25 per year, $35 for couples. Come on out and join, and share your brewing experiences with us.
