How to Join the Wootown Brewers

Try Before You Buy

Some of the brewers we meet are interested in joining the club, but are a little hesitant to pay for membership as they don't know what a "group brew" is actually like, or may have other questions.

For these reasons, Wootown offers individuals a trial membership wherein one can attend one Wootown meeting free of charge to come, hang out, meet our members, and see what a monthly meeting is like.

One of the biggest questions we get is "what does my membership fee go toward?" Wootown collects dues to pay for food and supply at monthly meetings, to pay administrative costs in arranging trips and excursions, and in purchasing brewing supplies for the club (we recently picked up a number of food grade 55 gallon stainless steel drums to use as brew kettles to give our group brews a much greater capacity).

So if you're interested, but hestitant to join, contact us to let us know when you'll be attending our next meeting. We'll make sure your money's worth... then again it's free, so hopefully more than your money's worth.

Joining

Once you've decided to join, you may either pay your dues at one of our group meetings, or by visiting our membership kiosk at The Thirsty Brewer homebrew supply shop at 13522 Long Green Pike, Baldwin, MD 21013 during their regular business hours.

You will be added to the e-mail distribution list and receive a number of other benefits, such as discounts at participating retailers.
