March 2008 - Oktoberfest Brew at The Thirsty Brewer
On Saturday, March 22, 2008, the Wootown Brewers met behind The Thirsty Brewer to brew 90 gallons of Maerzen in preparation for the planned Wootown Oktoberfest.
The brew started around 9 a.m., and ended shortly after 9:30 p.m. A missing mash tun and some hose issues largely attributed to the brew running long.
Wootown did not hold an official meeting during the brew due to just how long the brew stretched. As a result, Wootown will likely hold an early April meeting in preparation for the April brew bus.
