June 2006 Meeting
On Saturday, June 17, 2006, the Wootown Brewers held its June meeting at the house of Jeff and Lisa Sanders in Lutherville, MD.
The meeting was not a group brew, but included a club meeting and proceedings, as well as food.
Members were served beer-simmered bratwurst in onions, cooked in a dunkleweisen brewed by Jeff himself.
Other dishes included taco dip, spinach dip, a veggie platter, German sausages, among other dishes.
Beers served were the aforementioned Dunkleweisen, two kegs of the American Pale Ale brewed at the May 2006 meeting, Chris Trompeter's Oak Barrel Stout, Lloyd and Ruth Anne's pale ale, and a sampling of the Dogfish Golden Shower Imperial Pilsner.
The group met, ate, discussed upcoming events and club participation in those events, and then set forth a meeting schedule for the Fall. Several motions were also put forth.

A number of resolutions were put forth at the meeting, and were put to a vote by voting members of the organization. Those resolutions include:
The club voted to purchase from club President Tom Davidson (a number) 55 gallon stainless steel drums. Tom had already spent the money out of his pocket in travelling to the MidWest to procure the drums for the club, and therefore sought to be reimbursed for the drums. The motion passed unanimously.
The club voted to purchase from club Communications Officer Jeff Sanders $27 worth of "party supplies" including plates, napkins, plastic cutlery, cups and other assorted supplies that he had picked up in preparation for the June meeting. Jeff had noted that at many meetings, club members were always looking for supplies and it was unfortunate that we had to leave the host with a series of dishes to clean up. The motion passed unanimously. Jeff is currently in possession of all of the supplies and will bring them to the September meeting.
The club voted to determine a calendar for the 2006-2007 Brewing Year.
